CATV Ethernet cable

Does Cablevision -NY use optical ethernet cable in the home; or from the pole to the home; or only from the node to the pole? Thanks.
Acknowledging that Cablevision is in a better position to outline their optical Ethernet strategy, we feel that it's more than likely that none of the suggested scenarios apply. But very loosely speaking it would be from the hub to the node. The optical network today generally ends at the fiber node (unless a cable provider is offering FTTx - a rare occurrence today). The optical network carries analog video or MPEG2 transport streams, some of which are carrying MPEG2 compressed video, while others are carrying DOCSIS frames (which carry IP/Ethernet in them for cable modem service).
